Welcome to the Durham Pals Poker Blog!!!

Greetings All -- Welcome to the Durham Pals Poker Blog. Here we'll keep track of the results of our group's online play via Poker Academy -- as well as razz players that we've just beaten. A few initial rules:

Each player, when joining the group, will establish an initial bankroll. Being a gentleman's game, we will assume that all players are good for their debts. All banking records to be kept on a master spreadsheet by Bill Porter, and posted after each game.

The minimum payout shall be $250. To execute a request, email must be sent to Bill Porter (bill.porter@skylakedevelopment.com), who will monitor requests, determine who is responsible for payout, etc, and will forward a CONFIRMED REQUEST to the PAYOR. If a player requests a payout, the player with the lowest bankroll (or, in other words, the greatest amount of losses) will be required to cut a check in the payout amount. This check MUST BE CUT WITHIN 48 HOURS OF A CONFIRMED REQUEST. In no event shall a player be required to cut a check that will require his balance to exceed his initial bankroll -- in the event that the Confirmed Request would result in an overflow, two players may be required to cut checks.

To be included as a Durham Pals Poker Blog, play must have occurred online and results must be reported within 1 day to Bill Porter.

Payout structures for tournaments are as follows:
2 to 6 70% to 1st, 30% to 2nd
7 to 10 50% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, 20% to 1st
11 to 20 50% to 1st, 25% to 2nd, 15% to 3rd, 10% to 4th
20+ 45% to 1st, 25% to 2nd, 18% to 3rd, 12% to 4th
