25 March 2007 -- First 6 Handed Cash Game

Hey All -- An excellent bigger cash game last night -- we got up to 6 handed as Suh and Burdick made their first appearances at the cash game -- Suh recovered from an early deficit and played really well down the stretch, made some good moves (including one that got picked off by Jer).

Another excellent Cash game -- 4 handed play. Sprite took another tough one, screwed on a bunch of tough hands. Jer got brutalized flopping a straight when I flopped a higher one. The final tallies:

Another excellent cash game. We played 4 handed for a few hours -- Jeremy and Barry were the big winners, Eric bore the brunt of the losses.

Next game hopefully we can push it to 5-6 handed

1st Tourney Results

Well, we finished our first tourney this afternoon and it went really well. We had 5 players for a $25 buy in, and Hal emerged as champion ($90), with Schuldt coming in second ($35). We used the 2005 WSOP Circuit blind structure, with blinds increasing every 10 minutes. The tourney wrapped up in just over an hour, so in terms of timing it was great (didn't take forever, but also the blinds did not race up so quickly as to prevent us from playing some real poker).

Looking forward to a tourney with a few more guys -- maybe we can get 7 or so for the next one.
